Rufus ‘DJ RHEE’ Moremi is a Driven, Determined, Hard/Smart working, Fervent, Dedicated, Respectful, entrepreneur,DJ,TV and Radio Host.Born and bred in a Township Grasmere South of Johannesburg. Growing up always aspiring to be an Entrepreneur,DJ,TV and Radio personality.He eventually developed a passion to be a Media personality/Entrepreneur. As time went by he found media as a greatest tool to change his life and others. During school holidays he would hang around at SABC,Urban Brew and Red Pepper studios and search opportunities of getting in the industry. He met one of his mentor Sbusiso “Dj Sbu”Leope at TS Records offices in Richmond.Sbu used to invite Rhee to come in TV studios to observe when shooting his show Friends like These on SABC , on his Radio shows and to gigs where ever he DJ to learn the ropes of the industry. Since then DJ RHEE never looked back… TV Career DJ Rhee started doing work on lot of local productions like Generations,Muvhango, Rhythm City,commercials and Drama Series playing lighting Tech on Generations,Homeless boy on Place Called Home. He then became guest presenter on Yotv Wildroom.It was in 2008 when his first TV gig came on SOWETO TV as a host of the show Dlala Ngeringas. He went on to present music lounge on SABC 1. He also auditioned f SABC1 LIVE AMP show and Friends Like These presenter search and was nominated in the Top 2 on both shows with Warras and Trevor Gumbi. DJ Rhee previously hosted a magazine show called iLifestyle on SABC 1,which is was 2nd most watched magazine show in the country with approx 5Million Viewers on Episode. He is currently Hosting a Youth Show called BIG UP on Sabc 1 every Sundays 12:00pm with approx 6Million Viewrs. Radio/Music Career In 2009 DJ RHEE recorded his 1st radio demo that got him a gig at Radio Station (Commuter FM). He later got into Vodacom Radio as On Air DJ Hosting Friday Afternoon drive. From 2014 DJ RHEE has been a host of a breakfast show at TransAfricaRadio. Social Responsibility Giving back to the community is what DJ RHEE does every day using the brand and the influence that he has through the various media platforms(TV,DJ and RADIO) by making difference in the community. DJ RHEE has weekly motivational talks at high schools /tertiary institutions to inspire youth and speak about the importance of education and lot of other social life issues. Communities often lack more than just clothes and foods but the need of a profound education hence SA Spelling contest, I would give my time to teaching learners and even hosted a competition where Lavela High school in Zola Won the Title of having the best spellers in 2015 In 2015 Tsakane Mangwane was a Director of Teenage Corporation which aimed to provide a platform and Financial help to disabled individuals in all provinces this campaign was called Unbreakable dreams

DJ Sabby was born and bred in Durban. At the age of 14, he fell in love with radio and, kicked off his career through Love Life’s Radio Y’s programme. In 2008, he enrolled at the National Electronic Media Institute of South Africa (NEMISA) for a national certificate in Radio production, which he qualified for the following year. In between this and juggling his weekend mornings and weekday night’s slots on PRIMEDIA’s Cape-Town based commercialstation, 94.5 KFM, he also pronged out into TV as a presenter. DJ Sabby has had a stint on 94.7 Highveld Stereo hosting the late graveyard slot on weekends. He then joined the Y Academy in 2010 and became YFM’s traffic presenter the next year. The following year he scored his own show called, “The Adrenaline Rush” on weekends between 12-3am. Sabby currently hosts YFM’s afternoon drive time show “The Best Drive”. DJ Sabby has also done TV work, TV presenter for Bonisanani, Unplugged, Plus and also The HotSpot an online project he did with Kagiso TV and Communication. He currently presents Babize Bonke — a interactive music show which airs weekdays between 16:00 & 17:00 CAT.

Sinesipho Sihomo was Born in East London Mdantsane. A very passionate talented artist who fell in love with the performing arts at a very early age.In 2014 she was part of the a famed musical show Clash of the Choirs. Her love for the arts lead her into a great career path as she enrolled at Tshwane University of Technology for a national diploma in Musical theatre, of which she graduated in 2020. During the years as a Student Sinesipho also was casted as a leading character in 2016 in one of the Mzansi Magic movies and in 2018 she was casted on Rhythm City and The River. She since there was involved in various music projects and as a young philanthropist was also involved in various charity drives and organizations. Sinesipho is currently the host of the hottest cooking show in the land, Kasi Kitchen, which airs every Friday at 6pm on Soweto Tv.

Amanda Mazwane is broadcaster born in Durban and bread in Mount Frere, Eastern Cape. She completed Btech/Honors Degree in Journalism majoring in TV and Radio Broadcasting at Tshwane University of Technology. It was in 2015 when she volunteered at a community radio station, Alfred Nzo FM that she realized that this passion would be something she would turn into a reality. During her studies at TUT, she did a professional training at a campus radio station, TUT FM, serving as a News anchor, Reporter and Technical Producer. In her final year of studies, she went on to complete an internship at Madibeng FM serving as a Field Reporter, English and Xhosa News anchor, while freelancing at GauTV as a Field Reporter and Anchor. After her internship came to an end at Madibeng FM, she got another internship at SGS as a Production, Editorial and Marketing Assistant where she did a lot of video shooting and editing, as well as writing of articles. During the same period at SGS, Mazwane got another amazing opportunity at SABC as a Mentee at 5fm where she was professionally exposed in different fields of radio. On a personal level, Amanda is a young hard working and driven individual with hunger for success and open to enhancing her personal capacity as a professional through solid knowledge. She is a fast learner and will use every opportunity she gets to learn and improve her skills and knowledge. She was born in Johannesburg, raised in KZN and later moved back to Johannesburg Where She matriculated in the year 2002, She worked as a diamond analyst at De Beers in 2005 that is where she was introduced to the Deaf community. It never dawned on her that being a South African Sign Language (SASL) Interpreter would become her profession. Pursuing her passion , she studied sign language at Wits university completed level 1 to level 3, She furthered her interest in studying sign language interpreting. Over 10 years ago, Ms Madlala has been interpreting on SABC special broadcastings. She also made various appearances interpreting on Shift and yo tv on SABC 1 Democracy gauge on Sabc 3,certain episodes of Mokapelo, Morning live and the Agenda on Sabc channel 404 She has rendered her services for all previous presidents and our current president during live broadcastings of the State of the Nation address, Political centenary events, for Deputy President Kgalema Motlanthe and former President Thabo Mbeki and former president Jacob Zuma . She has also interpreted on numerous significant occasions such as State funerals including that of former Co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs Minister, Sicelo Shiceka and our former President Nelson Mandela and the late Winnie Madikizela Mandela. She is currently rendering her services on Daily Thetha on SABC1 and during the Special broadcast, president and ministers updates on Covid 19 she is also currently interpreting news on Soweto TV – DSTV Channel 251; which flights Monday to Friday at 6:30pm. But her skills are not only limited to media interpreting, Ms Madlala also interprets in parliament, conferences, court cases, police stations, social events and music festivals. She does not have a Deaf member of the family. Fortune Madlala is proud to be making a difference in building a communication bridge between the Deaf and Hearing world. With over 10 years of experience in the field. She also provides services to the Deaf-Blind community for people who cannot see, hear and speak. Apart from interpreting she is also experienced in subtitling and transcription, which she provides her services to various shows on public and private sector. She is the founder of Forch Communications and Projects which aims to change the perception of people that Deaf individuals are unable to pursue similar goals as that of Hearing individuals as well as creating awareness of Deaf culture through community and schools outreach programs. Forch also provides various projects such as Deaf culture sensitization, most of the projects focuses on socio economic development which includes schools outreach projects where they award students who excels academically and in sports, in the community outreach projects, Forch conducts and supports initiatives on crime alleviation projects through sports, arts and culture, Motivational and inspirational speaking in schools and in communities is the core of her projects. Her work had also given her an opportunity as she was invited In China Guangzhou in 2015 and in 2019 to South America, Chile and in Brazil to share her experiences and learn best practices also in countries such as France, Paris in 2019. Shaan Kay is born 14 August 2001 . She is the youngest Soweto TV 2020 Television Presenter and was the anchor of her own show called Movie Box . Her show gained her loads of positive attention as Communal leaders and motivational speakers reached out to her too give motivational talks to the Youth and she taught many that age does not define what one is capable of . Shaan Kay was also the youngest Online Radio Presenter In Nasrec Online Radio and through her participation gained good networking as she got too accompany artist Kwesta , Mrs Africa 2019 and Candice Modiselle on stage just too name a few . Shaan Kay later that year (2019) got to represent the female youth for an empowering organization and got interviewed by Tbo Touch on the Take Off in Women’s month . The presenter juggles a Television career , University , a modeling career and being a young entrepreneur. Mpumi Manyisi is a professional media practitioner, a Boston Media House Graduate – holds a Special Major in Journalism. Her media career was launched at Jozi FM in 2010 where she started out as an on air sports anchor, was also a Freelance writer for different publications. She then went onto join Soweto TV in 2016 serving as Content Producer for two television shows, one called your Late Mate with Nimrod Nkosi hosted by Nimrod Nkosi and also produced a sports show called Dipapadi. Subsequent to that in the year 2016 she ventured into Public Relations and started a company called Exodus Media Works, a public relations agency that mainly focuses on corporate PR; covering media relation campaigns for small medium enterprises, public figures and authors . In 2017 got an opportunity to join a newly formed online station,Massiv Metro founded by DJ Sbu. Mpumi served as a content Producer for a sports show called Massiv XI hosted by soccer legends namely Mark Fish, Jabu Pule and Chris Bongo. In 2019 she then joined Hope FM; a Vaal based radio station as a Sports Editor, and subsequently moved back to Soweto TV as a Sports Journalist, covering sports stories for Soweto TV lunch time news.

Reggae Vibes Presenter: Ras Sipho Gideon Mantula, popular known in the Rastafari and Reggae community as Ras Sipho was born on the 28th of August 1978 in Montshiwa Township, Mahikeng, North West Province, and South Afrika/Azania. Humble beginnings and learned in the field of human rights law and conflict studies, community and mainstream media and well as Afrikan international affairs. As a youth, Ras Sipho used to listen to reggae music from his neighbour’s yard in Montshiwa ghetto and recorded various reggae music shows using the cassette deckers. His love for reggae music grow in the early years during the high school and university days when he used to listen to Burning Spear, Joseph Hill-Culture, Judy Mowatt, Rita Marley, Wailing Wailers, Augusto Pablo, Yellow- man, Toots and Matyals, Israel Vibration, Misty in Roots, Jimmy Cliff, Morgan Heritage, Lucky Dube, Senzo, Sipho Johnson aka Jambo, Carlos Djeje, Dr Victor and Rasta Rebels, Corlbert Mukhwevo. Ras Sipho listens to new reggae sounds and messages from these reggae musicians both from Afrika and the world. Ras Sipho is also travelling the African Continent on various missions and he is indeed a Pan Afrikan Reggae Diplomat of Standing. His commitment and passion is Afrika first, Rastafari and Reggae first and knowledge is Black power. His role on reggae vibes on Soweto TV goes beyond presenting or trying to earn celebrity status but a real community activist and a rebel advocate for basic human rights who takes a train, a bus and taxi to the ghetto and town. His punchlines on the show has been greetings– from Angola to Zimbabwe including all the Caribbean; Reggae loves Afrika; No commotion nor emotion but reggae affection; Outer view and inner view and Stay better and not bitter.
