A family of three from Meadowlands Zone 6 have been left stranded after their shack was gutted by a fire. According to the mother, 33 year old Thandiwe Zulu, her 16year old daughter and her 5 year old son were in the shack when the incident occurred. The cause of the fire is unknown at this stage but the family suspects that the blaze was caused by the gas stove which was left unattended. The family has called on members of the community to extend a helping hand and assist them rebuild their home and get some basic needs.
